Salmon Faverolles originated in a small village in France called Faverolles.  They are good layers of tinted to very light brown, medium-sized eggs and lay an average of around 180-200 eggs per year/roughly 4 eggs per week. Salmon Faverolles do well in confinement as well as free-ranging. They are a docile, friendly breed that is entertaining to watch. The have fluffy faces that make them look absolutely adorable!
