The Rhode Island Red is as American as Apple Pie. They are a must have in every flock. Rhode Island Reds are a deep burgundy color and an excellent brown egg layer of approximately 300 eggs a year. They are active foragers and enjoy hunting for bugs, seeds, and even the occasional frog!
