Pre-purchase chickens by ordering online!

You can pre-purchase chickens through our online store.

The benefits of buying your chickens online:

• You are guaranteed that the birds will be available.
  • We are dealing with live animals and sometimes crazy things happen.  In the instance that something happens, and we are unable to provide the chickens you ordered, you will be refunded 100% of your cost.
• You can shop for the breeds you want and the dates they will be available.

Things to keep in mind:

• Chickens must be picked up by 5:00pm on the designated pick-up day.
• You can call 386-208-0495 to schedule an appointment during the week prior to the pick-up date to come out and get your chickens.  When scheduling your appointment, please keep in mind that we have jobs outside of the farm and also are involved in activities with our children, so are not available all the time.
• If you are ordering chickens for multiple dates you will need to plan to make multiple trips to pick up your chickens.
• You will need to bring something to transport your chickens home in.  A box or animal carrier works great.
• All online sales are final.

Purchasing at Happy Heart Farms

We do not offer all of our chickens for online sales.  We keep a percent back in reserve to make sure we have enough chickens to fulfill the online orders.  We begin selling the reserve chickens the day after the “designated pick-up date” of the pre-sold chickens. We do this on a modified “first come, first served” basis. Because of our work schedules outside of farm life, we sell these reserve birds by appointment only.

To purchase from Happy Heart Farms:

• Call 386-208-0495 to make an appointment.
• Bring something to carry the chickens home in.  A box or animal carrier works great.
• You can pay cash or we take electronic payment.  We add a service fee to the electronic payment to cover our additional cost.
• Please remember we sell on a “first come, first served” basis.
• We do not hold or reserve the “first come, first served” chickens for purchases at the farm. This service is only for our online orders.
