The Cream Legbar is not to be outdone! They are a medium-sized bird laying medium-sized, robins-egg-blue colored eggs. This curious and winsome breed’s appearance varies between sexes. Cream Legbars have a range of cream and gray barring and a small crest. They are excellent foragers, incredibly watchful, and are “street-smart,” making them an excellent choice for free-ranging. Cream Legbars are productive layers, averaging 4 medium-sized light blue eggs weekly which equates to around 230 eggs per year. While the hen is family friendly, the rooster can sometimes be aggressive, but this is an autosexing breed, which means that when hatched the males look distinctly different than the females. That being said, we only order females from our hatchery, and this breed is easy to determine males from females.
