The Blue Laced Gold Wyandotte is similar in appearance to the Golden Laced Wyandotte, but instead of black lacing on the feathers, there is blue lacing. They have a modest sized rose comb and waddles. These are strikingly beautiful birds and are a pleasure to look at!
Generally, Wyandottes are a calm breed but don’t enjoy being picked up and carried around. Think of them like a typical housecat! Toward other chickens, they tend to be at the top of the pecking order, probably in part due to their broad bodies and heavy weight. They are a dual-purpose, dependable layer of 3-4 medium-large sized brown eggs.
