Amberlinks are hybrid crosses between the Rhode Island Red Hen and Rhode Island White Rooster.  They are high production birds, producing approximately 300 eggs a year.  They also are very docile birds that are excellent free rangers.  Additionally, they have superb foraging skills that make them very proficient at finding food.  Because of their lighter weight they have an excellent feed conversion ratio that helps keep the cost down.
