Fun fact: The Kellogg’s rooster, named Cornelius, is a Welsummer. This breed is a rare, dual-purpose bird with Dutch origins that makes excellent foragers.  They are a great addition to the flock if you are looking for more variety in your eggs, which are a beautiful terracotta color that oftentimes have dark speckles. This breed also has a beautiful feather pattern and is calm, docile, and friendly in temperament.
